The Carriage House Bed and Breakfast: Retreats

Our beautifully restored, circa 1870 Farmhouse is located in the historic district of Carthage, NC and is the perfect setting for an intimate gathering of friends!   Tucked away from the hussle & bussle of surrounding cities but only 10 minutes from Pinehurst, 40 minutes from Chapel Hill, 1 hour from Raleigh, 1 hour from Charlotte, 1 hour from Fayetteville.  We offer a full functioning Bed and Breakfast that is available for craft and scrapbooking retreats, team meetings, parties and MORE!

We have space to accommodate up to 20 attendees for day crops at our bed and breakfast.  Let us assist you with bringing your crafting supplies into our home upon arrival and back to your car as you leave! Our crop & scrapbooking spaces are located on the 1st floor of the property with use of bathroom located on 2nd floor.  (Please contact us if navigating stairs is an issue for you).

We can accommodate up to 9 overnight guests in our 4 beautiful and all new guest rooms located on the 2nd floor of our bed and breakfast!   We have overnight accommodations beginning at $125 per night for a single guest or $42 per night for a shared room.  All overnight stays include a delicious, gourmet breakfast!  Our property is the perfect setting for craft/scrapbooking retreats, team meetings, parties and MORE!

When booking an overnight retreat, you will have full access to public areas of our home - including our inviting front porch complete with swing, grounds with gazebo on patio, fire pit for s'mores, guest rooms, bathrooms & self-serve beverage/snack station equipped with Keurig machine and mini refrigerator. 

We host Day Crops once per month at our bed and breakfast for $25 - events run from 10 am to 5 pm and include lunch, beverages, snack, door prizes and work space.  Bring your own scrapbooking & crafting supplies for a day filled with food, friends and FUN!  Have a group and want to book your own private day crop?  Contact us to plan your custom event (8 person minimum to schedule a private day crop). The She Shed at our bed and breakfast has scrapbooking and card making supplies (stamps, dies, ink, cardstock, patterned paper, templates, sequins, seam binding) for sale for those items you may have forgotten or for anything new you may 'need' to add to your stash!  Retreats plus retail therapy = a little slice of heaven!
